We will also honor Judge Jazelle M. Jones, Deputy Managing Director and Director of Operations for the City of Philadelphia. Jazelle has been a long-time supporter of the Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade & Festival and was integral to its growth and transition over the past year.

The Pennsylvania Juneteenth Initiative Inc. is a nonprofit organization hosting the largest Juneteenth celebration in the nation -- bringing more than 25,000 individuals from across the country to Philadelphia to commemorate the first and only true African-American Independence Celebration, the celebration of the Jubilee.
